Have you ever?

I copied this off of a friend's blog. (thank you Faith!) If you'd like to do this to, feel free.

Have you ever?

Bold the things you’ve done.

4. Visited Hawaii

5. Watched a meteor shower

6. Given more than you can afford to charity

10. Sang/played a solo - I've sung many solos at church & for choir in high school. I also played the flute and did Solo & Ensemble competitions.

11. Bungee jumped

12. Visited Paris

13. Watched a lightning storm at sea - does being on the beach & watching the lightning storm count? If so, then I've done this, otherwise, I have not...

14. Taught yourself an art from scratch

15. Adopted a child

16. Had food poisoning

17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty

18. Grown your own vegetables - I have what is known as a "black thumb" I look at plants & they die...

20. Slept on an overnight train

21. Had a pillow fight - I didn't really share a room with my sister, but we had many fights. Some included pillows

22. Hitch hiked - Twice in one day. It was interesting to be sitting in the back of a truck with a soccer team and a tiny crab. In Ecuador, I learned that hitch hiking is not a quiet thing like here in the States. Here, you stick out your thumb and hope someone stops. There, you yell the name of the place you want to get to and when someone slows down, you run & hope you can make it into the back of the vehicle before they speed up.

23. Taken a sick day when you’re not ill - Michael wanted me to spend the day with him & after my physical therapy appointment that day, I called into work & said I wasn't feeling well.

39. Gone rock climbing- Only on the rock wall thing on a play set at church. We had a child who was too scared to get down so, I climbed up to get him.

40. Seen Michelangelo’s David

41. Sung karaoke

42. Seen Old Faithful geyser erupt

43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant - I don't think we bought the entire meal, but we at least contributed $10 toward it. Michael was home on leave & we were eating lunch with some friends. A little girl & 2 men (dad & grandpa) came into the restaurant. The little girl looked so tired. The men treated her as if she was very fragile. She appeared to have lost the majority of her hair. The men kept urging her to eat a little bit and she would. My heart broke at the sight. We didn't have much money at the time, but I knew that what we did have, we needed to give to this family. I asked our server to take $10 off of their bill because I wanted to pay that much. She did. I don't know if the server said anything to the family, but I felt good knowing that I had been obedient to what God had prompted me to do.

44. Visited Africa

45. Walked on a beach by moonlight - After our theater performances, we'd go to this restaurant called Herbie K's. Then we'd walk through the pool area of a nearby hotel to get to the beach.

46. Been transported in an ambulance - N was coming a little sooner & quicker than expected. I had the truck at work, Michael was almost an hour away at his work. My contractions were 4 minutes apart & steadily getting closer. My boss couldn't leave because the only other gal working was 16. So, when the ambulance crew got there, I was told that I was the calmest woman in labor they had ever transported.

I thought it was playing with Sarah that you hit the wall---I didn't know about Rachel---that time.

Well, I hit the wall when I was playing with Sarah. A little while later, I got angry at Rachel & hit Rachel on the head. Then I finished the cake for the dinner on the ground for Sunday.
